Welcome to Everyone's Got an Olly

We are the parents of 3 (now adult) children Our middle child Olly was diagnosed with Dyslexia at the age of 11 and Autism level1 @ the age of 13. Throughout this time, Olly has also suffered with mental health and to this day at the age of 22 the fight is still very real. With all autism, regardless of the level 78% grow up to have issues with mental health.  During Olly's lows we presented at various emergency departments non of which fully understood the pain  and sadness within. Olly was discharged, with each rejection Olly would feel slightly worse than the rejection before.  As advised by the medical profession, help was in the community.  Engaging with community health teams and services which helped for a short time, but once on the mend, Olly would be discharged, so no safety net or support was in place for health maintenence Next time Olly struggled, it would spiral very quickly and no one available for support, 

What started as an idea and motivation for Olly on her dark days of depression of how she could come through this and help other like minded teenagers. So in December 2021 we sold up everything around our city lifestyle and relocated to an old dairy farm, with 65 acres of space to play with. We had no idea how this would work or even what it looked like but all the family has worked hard to get it done, although still much more to do, we can't wait to share our place with everyone . The idea is to keep our youth out of the sterile environment of hospitals and give them freedom, through space on the farm to discover who they really are, understand they are enough and so can actually be themselves.  With the help of animal therapy, wellbeing, forums, meditation, etc.., with the support of a friendly family team for lots of fun.  We now have a lot of support from the community and professionals alike so lets see youth smile again.
